I am an Indoor Environmental Consultant specializing in indoor air quality, moisture, and mold assessments. I am a Council-certified Residential Indoor Environmentalist (CRIE) through the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC). My professional training also includes the IICRC Building Moisture Inspection (BMI) certification, Pathways™ Technician certification, CIRSx Medically Important Assessment (MIA) 101 and 102 training, and OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health training.

I grew up in a construction family, which gave me an early appreciation for how homes are built and how the different systems inside a building work together. Understanding buildings and how they function has always come naturally to me, but I never imagined it would become such a personal part of my life after my wife and son became very sick from hidden toxic mold in our home.

Like many families dealing with mold and water-damaged buildings, we spent years searching for answers without realizing the source of our family's health issues was right under our noses—literally.

Watching both my wife and son struggle with mold illness, CIRS, MCAS, MCS, autoimmune challenges, and my son's battle with PANS changed my life. Having lived through these challenges myself, I understand the unique needs of mold-sensitive individuals, those navigating CIRS, and health-conscious people seeking answers about their indoor environment.

Through my family's own experience, I learned that many mold inspections simply don't go deep enough. Too often, homes are inspected without taking the time to thoroughly evaluate the property or understand the concerns of the people who live there. Meaningful answers and healthier homes come from listening, conducting thorough inspections, using the right tools and strategic testing methods, and recommending practical next steps when they truly matter.
