Inspections With Purpose
Tyler's inspections are thorough, multi-hour assessments that systematically evaluate the home from the exterior to the interior, and from top to bottom. Unlike many mold inspections that may be completed in 30 to 60 minutes, only focus on the home's interior, or rely on random testing alone, he evaluates the home as a complete system. His focuses on understanding not only what is happening, but also why it's happening, and how to address it.
Using building science, specialized equipment, environmental measurements, and strategic testing, he identifies the root causes of mold, moisture, and indoor air quality concerns and provides practical recommendations to create a healthier home.

Services We Provide
Tyler's full inspection is a thorough, exterior-to-interior, top-to-bottom mold inspection and indoor air quality assessment of the home. Using a building science approach, Tyler evaluates conditions that may be contributing to mold growth, moisture intrusion, or indoor air quality concerns. Every inspection is tailored to the home's history, current conditions, occupant concerns, and the questions that need to be answered, whether you are a homeowner, renter, buying a home, or building a home.

Full Inspection
If the concern is limited to a specific room, area, or building component, Tyler offers targeted inspections designed to evaluate the area of concern. This service is ideal for investigating isolated moisture issues, water damage, visible mold, odd odors in a specific area, or other localized indoor environmental concerns.

Targeted Inspection
Tyler's Post-Remediation Verification (PRV) inspection is a follow-up assessment that is performed after mold remediation has been completed, but before the remediation contractor removes containment. Tyler evaluates the remediated area(s) to verify that the work was completed in accordance with the remediation protocol and recognized industry standards, including the ANSI/IICRC S520 Standard for Professional Mold Remediation. PRV includes a visual inspection, psychrometric readings, and verification sampling to determine the effectiveness of remediation efforts.

Post-Remediation Verification (PRV)
Need a second opinion or guidance? During a virtual consultation, Tyler will review your questionnaire, photos, videos, previous reports, and environmental testing results to better understand your concerns. Tyler will discuss his observations, answer questions, and provide educational guidance and practical next steps. Virtual consultations should not replace an in-person inspection.
